Cities in Latin America have joined the Plastic Smart Cities. Through pilot projects, baseline assessments, City Action Plans, and community engagement, each city will implement tailored strategies to tackle plastic pollution by improving plastic waste management and promoting circular economy practices.

Supported by regional partners, the initiative will foster a regional hub for knowledge exchange, enabling other cities in Latin America to adopt best practices and scale impact. Together, these cities are taking bold steps to protect their environments and inspire sustainable urban transformation across the region.
