WWF-International and UN-Habitat have joined forces in a collective partnership to tackle plastic pollution in urban centers and tourist destinations. WWF’s Plastic Smart Cities initiative has also partnered with UN-Habitat’s Waste Wise Cities campaign and Eurocities to help build the capacity of cities to eliminate plastic pollution by 2030. You can learn more about the WWF - UN partnership here, and the Eurocities partnership here.
